  There are three ways to get to the funicular. 1. Funicular Tram / Train (I used this) (3 Lari 1 way) 2. Motorable road (To Mtatsminda Park and walk to funicular) 3. Climb up the steep hill I visited Funicular on the first day in Tbilisi for dinner. Tbilisi city view from the top is spectacular, and this is a must visit place for every tourist. The city view and the view of the Tbilisi City tower are so different during the day time and at night that I will recommend visiting funicular just before the sunset and enjoy the evening sky followed by night illumination.
