::The most terrible coffee. What was my disappointment when, in a coffee shop in Moscow, I drank an incredible muck - lungo in a dubby. This is the worst coffee from all the many coffee houses in Tbilisi. This is the worst coffee in my life. (And I tried my first boiled in Turkish, burnt coffee, which I diligently cooked from the seeds of the Jacobs, for my girl.) What was the greatest feil). Now I'm not so ashamed of that coffee. And it's embarrassing for a dubby who takes 7 (!!!) lari for him. If you want to drink coffee too (for Tbilisi 7 lari it's expensive), then it's worth to go to Prosperos Books & Calibans - there is a very tasty espresso, and the atmosphere is more interesting.

::It's simple. Best coffee in Tbilisi, no options. Excellent location, in the center, on one of the most beautiful streets of the city. Recognizable facade. The interior is spacious and comfortable enough. You can also sit outside: under the window there is a bench with pillows, it is quite cozy. A standard set of drinks, some pastries. Everything is in the tradition of Doublebee. Friendly guys at the counter. Minuses, perhaps, two, but very weighty. An indecently high price for coffee: a standard cup of cappuccino - 9GEL (240 rubles), a large one - 13GEL (almost 350!). For Tbilisi, it seems to me, this is too much (the average price in the city is about 6GEL), the local coffee house has surpassed even Moscow! The second minus is the operating mode. 9 a.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. - weekends. Everything around is already working. Neighboring Pаul by this time is packed. Are these disadvantages the reason why the coffee shop is almost always empty? (And I came here three days in a row at different times).
